Phase One of Reopening
Once we are reopened, we will be asking our visitors to take a few measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees and guests.
During phase one of re-opening, your temperature will be taken as you enter the building and you WILL BE REQUIRED to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines while visiting the museum.
As per the City of Orlando and State Health Officials’ guidelines we also ask that if you are experiencing any fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms, please do not enter the museum at this time.

Virtual Docent Tours
With advance notice, a guided virtual tour of the museum with a docent or educator can be arranged to enhance your art experience. Tours are typically conducted Monday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 – 3:30 p.m. Tours are 45 – 55 minutes in length for adults, and 30 – 40 minutes for children. Blue Star Museum Program
The Mennello Museum of American Art is proud to be one of more than 2,000 museums to participate in the Blue Star Museum program. We offer free admission to all active, retired military personnel, veterans and their families year-round.
Museums on Us Program
Take advantage of the Museums on Us program from Bank of America on the first full weekend of every month. Each cardholder of a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch bank card receives one free general admission. Please present your bankcard and valid photo ID to participate.
A circular driveway in front of the museum allows for visitor drop-off at the covered front porch, which is equipped with a ramp and stairs. There is a concrete pathway through the Sculpture Garden for lakeside strolls. A wheelchair is available free of charge upon request. Large Print copies of artwork labels may be available. Please contact our front desk receptionist for any special needs assistance.
Directions and Parking
Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the museum.
Additional and covered parking is available in the nearby four-story Orlando Science Center parking garage for a $5 fee.
Orlando Urban Trail
The Orlando Urban Trail is considered the spine of Orlando’s bicycle and pedestrian trail network. The trail is approximately three miles long and 12 feet wide; approximately 85 percent of the trail is an off-street path, with asphalt and concrete sections. The trail runs from Lake Highland through Loch Haven Cultural Park, to Mead Garden in Winter Park. The Orlando Urban Trail runs through the lakeside Sculpture Garden, leading visitors to the museum’s front door and bike rack.
The Mennello Museum of American Art is located a short walking distance from the Florida Hospital Health Village SunRail commuter train station located at 500 East Rollins Street, Orlando, Florida, 32803. SunRail trains run Monday-Friday only. SunRail is closed and does not operate on the following holidays: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
