Free Family Funday presented by VyStar Credit Union and Orlando Health

On the 2nd Sunday of each month – join us at the Mennello Museum for free admission all day, hourly tours, and a fine art project! Each Free Family Funday has a different art project based on the artists of the current exhibition, their subject matter, or their methods.

October 12 | Art Pollination Quilting Designs with Emily Johnson, Art Pollination 2025 Bloomberg Philanthropies Artist

Join renowned choreographer and local leader Emily Johnson as she leads a hands-on community quilt-making activity with fashion designer Korina Emmerich. Attendees are encouraged to write their ideas and observations about hunger, food insecurity and other pressing community issues on fabric swatches, which will be stitched together to create a large-scale quilt. The goal is to create a large-scale quilt installation that represents the voices of our community working together to address important issues. This installation will be shared at the Art Pollination main event on December 6, 2025, at Lake Lorna Doone Park.
