Indie-Folkfest Presented by VyStar Credit Union at the Mennello Museum is returning on February 14th, 2026!

Mennello Museum of American Art is thrilled to announce the return of its 11th Annual Indie-Folkfest, a vibrant celebration of music, art, and community, taking place on February 14, 2026.

This beloved festival will feature an exciting lineup of local musicians, delicious food and drinks, and a variety of engaging activities for attendees of all ages, making it a truly one-of-a-kind event in Orlando. Indie-Folkfest 2026 will showcase an incredible mix of live music performances and a fabulous emcee taking the stage to deliver a day of lively folk and indie sounds.

Festivalgoers can enjoy a diverse selection of delicious food and beverages, with offerings from local favorites. There will also be a variety of activities and entertainment for the whole family, including yard games, art project stations, and a bespoke raffle station featuring generous prizes donated by local businesses and attractions.

This free event serves as a gift from the Museum’s City-Appointed Board of Trustees to the Orlando community, celebrating local artists, musicians, and businesses while fostering a sense of connection and creativity. A portion of all proceeds from the event will benefit the Mennello Museum of American Art’s education and family-friendly programs.

Beth McKee and Her Funky Time Band

The Mississippi-born pianist and songwriter moved to Austin, Texas, in her early 20s and found role models in women like Lucinda Williams and Marcia Ball, who had thriving music careers. After a stint back in Mississippi to steep herself in the blues with Malaco session players, Beth joined harmonica legend Greg "Fingers" Taylor's band on a tour opening for Jimmy Buffett.

Claire Vandiver was born in Nashville, Tennessee and raised by parents who were both musicians. Now living in Central Florida, Claire has spent the past decade honing her craft as a musician and songwriter. She's previously released one EP and several singles recorded by multi-platinum producers ZK Productions in Atlanta, finding her own unique sound along the way.

Beaux Studios is home to Designer Cherrah Johnson and curates timeless clothing, often highlighting vintage details like pintucks and lace. Our 20-year-old working Downtown Orlando studio manufactures a jewelry collection that combines both rough and finished elements. A rough edge on a stone contrasted with the smooth finish of Kodiak Leather.

Hello! I'm Bethany, and I make cold process soaps, soy candles, whipped body butters, sugar scrubs, lip balm, and natural bug spray. The recipes are my own, and I've been making them all myself for 10 years. Anna, a bold advocate for Florida families and the working class, is born and raised in Orlando. She’s a State House Representative with a background in nonprofit management and a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida. She also serves as the Founder and Executive Director of People Power for Florida, a voter registration and engagement organization. A problem solver with a track record of kind sacrifice, endless hard work, and iron-clad values, Anna is known across the state and nation as a leader who is unbothered, unbossed, and committed to the people of Florida.

Ceramic artist Kristin Rucker is known for her signature squiggle, an ethos of child’s play, and character-driven objects informed by her background in screenwriting. Her practice centers on the creation of bespoke ceramic works for one-of-a-kind home décor, where narrative, form, and function intersect. Rucker is recognized for her Silly Goose collection and a one-of-one production method that emphasizes individuality, humor, and intentional imperfection.

Sheehan enjoys walking, gardening, and paddleboarding. She is a proponent of the arts, and exhibits her “Bad Kitty” paintings as well as ceramics and stained glass at area art shows.

PJ Svejda

PJ studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design where she earned both a BA in illustration and an MA in painting. She began building her career as an artist and instructor in Atlanta, Georgia for 12 years before relocating to Orlando, Florida where she has had great success in the local art community. She is most recognized for her passionate narratives, illustrating ideas of coexistence between man, beast, and planet. She pushes the envelope, juxtaposing controversial imagery with a classical and traditional style.
