Join us on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 6:00 PM for a Shodo, Japanese brush calligraphy, Workshop!

This cultural presentation and instruction will be provided by Izumi Sakurada, Gateway to Japan.

Find inner peace and self-control through the process of Origami and Shodo. The Covid-19 pandemic has been challenging and origami allows us to find a new life balancing skills to adapt ourselves with a new unpredictable future. Practicing to create moments, to have a sense of structure, and a creativity in daily life all help us to experience “self-control.” It may be only a brief moment out of your stressful day, but you will be able to generate a new productive energy from that moment onward. Under the motto of “Your Educational Gateway to Japan”, Sakurada Yuni and Izumi have been providing authentic cultural experiences and language lesson in Central Florida since 2006.
