Led by artist Lourdes Figueroa, experience new means of self-expression and inner discovery inspired by the Mennello Museum’s current exhibition, Shifting Gaze. Reflect on the inner and outer forces to construct a mosaic mirror reflective of your voice, aesthetics, and personhood. Coffee and tea will be served.
Lourdes “Lulu” Figueroa is an Orlando visual artist and second year Art Therapy graduate student at Pratt Institute’s Low Residency Program. Lulu has a strong devotion to the healing benefits of the arts. Her dedication to art therapy has provided opportunities working in addiction recovery, crisis support, psychiatric disorders, and community day centers. Her current artwork relates to themes of abundance, transformation, and ingenuity.
