Join the Mennello Museum in welcoming  Dr. Katherine Jentleson,  the Merrie and Dan Boone Curator of Folk and Self-Taught Art at the High Museum of Art and Co-Executive Editor of Panorama: Journal of the Association of Historians of American Art.

Since joining the High in 2015, she has overseen nine exhibitions including the critically acclaimed nationally traveling exhibition Really Free: The Radical Art of Nellie Mae Rowe and strategically grown the collection by more than six hundred objects.

Jentleson will discuss the art and life of Nellie Mae Rowe and explore how her legacy continues to grow through a touring exhibition organized by the High Museum of Art and a critically acclaimed experimental documentary by Opendox set to open for wide release in the summer of 2024.
