Members-only preview: 5:30-6:30 | Public reception: 6:30-8:00

Mira Lehr works at the intersection of art and nature, focusing on our relationship with our surroundings. Don’t miss discovering her mysterious world, whose beauty reminds us not only of the gifts we have been given by nature — but the importance of preserving them for future generations at the opening reception of Mira Lehr: High Water Mark

Join us for the evening at the Mennello Museum of American Art, for the opening of our 2020 season with an enticing solo exhibition, Mira Lehr: High Water Mark — a delightful exploration into the recent work of highly esteemed Miami-based artist and eco-feminist, Mira Lehr.

Featuring four distinct installations in each of the main gallery spaces, the museum will be transformed to tell the stories of our oceans and waterways. Find yourself captivated by Lehr’s work, as she creates the atmospheric experience of the underwater condition that carries with it a vulnerability that can be both intimidating and inspiring.

The reception will feature elegant appetizers by Runway Catering, music by The Steamin’ Trio, and a cash bar.

Complimentary shuttle services will be available on the night of the opening reception for guests wanting to view exhibitions at both the Mennello Museum of American Art and Orlando Museum of Art’s Living Color: The Art of the Highwaymen.
